AC Milan appear to be closing in on the appointment of Ruben #Amorim as their new head coach. Reports suggest that an agreement in principle has been reached on a contract until 2028, with an option for a further season. An official announcement is still pending. From a footballing perspective, the move makes a lot of sense. Amorim’s structured approach, tactical discipline and clear playing philosophy seem perfectly suited to Serie A. Now he has the opportunity to prove that he can not only develop teams, but also lead a major European club to success. That is something he ultimately failed to demonstrate at Manchester United.
